Building lifecycle cost models on behalf of your own clients
Farsight’s AM Editor role isn’t limited to in-house asset teams. Consultants — quantity surveyors, FM advisers, property consultants and specialist practitioners — can use an Editor role to build, manage and deliver lifecycle cost models on behalf of their own clients, directly within the Farsight platform.
Each client portfolio is set up as a separate project. The consultant manages the model as AM Editor — updating asset details, refining cost assumptions, configuring analytics and maintaining the currency of the lifecycle projections. The client accesses their own portfolio’s outputs via Power BI Viewer, without seeing other client data.
All client projects are accessible to the consultant through a single Farsight login — making it practical to manage multiple client engagements within one professional platform, rather than maintaining bespoke spreadsheets per engagement.
